Once a thriving port on the edge of the New Forest, Lymington played its part in centuries of coastal trade and notorious smuggling. Its narrow lanes and historic quaysides have witnessed everything from illicit midnight landings to tales of local legend.
Led by engaging spooky historian & storyteller Hugh, you’ll uncover the human stories behind the headlines. The smugglers and townsfolk who shaped Lymington’s past. Along the way, we’ll visit sites connected with documented hauntings and long-standing local folklore, including what is said to be one of the most haunted pubs in the New Forest.
