For centuries, the New Forest has been a place of folklore, superstition and healing. A landscape forever linked with tales of witches, cunning folk, and the occult. On this immersive guided experience from Haunted New Forest, journey into the lives, legends, and local history of the Forest’s most infamous witch figures.
Discover the story of the legendary Sybil Leek, the self-proclaimed “World’s Most Famous Witch”, whose dramatic life, occult practices, and media notoriety made her one of the most recognisable witch figures of the twentieth century. Explore the folklore surrounding the mysterious Witchy White, alongside stories of village wise women, herbal healers, curses, superstition, and strange encounters hidden deep within the Forest’s past.
Led by storyteller Hugh, A Walk With Witches offers a darker, more mysterious journey into one of England’s most folklore-rich landscapes, blending the line between history and legend.
